4 week in-home private session
Great for puppies as well as adult dogs. You will recieve a 1 1/2 hour training session the 1st week and 1 hour of instruction each week for the following 3 weeks. You will be given a training booklet full of training tips and detailed information about each lesson learned. You will also recieve a free clicker! Free E-mail and phone support is also provided between sessons.
Some of the lessons covered include:
- Housetraining
- Crate Training
- Sit, Down, Stand
- Stay
- Come When Called
- Walk nicely on a Leash
- Wait at doorways
- No jumping
- Recommended Toys & Treats
- Prevention of Behavior Problems will also be discussed
Single in-home private session(approximatey 1.5 hours in length)
Puppy Headstart- If your new puppy is too young to join our classes and you need help NOW ...this 1 hour lesson gives you a head start on your training. You will be given advice on housetraining, mouthing and nipping, chewing, crate training, diet and feeding, toys, etc. You will also be given help on how to avoid many common behavior problems and we will help you begin your pup's basic obedience training. Handouts are provided.
Positive Beginnings- The first few weeks in a new home can determine a dog's future. A newly rescued, or adopted dog can be a challenge and our program can help with the transition into your home. You will get advice on prevention of behavior problems, housetraining, crate training, and tips on diet.
A-La-Carte- Does your dog just have just one behavior that drives you crazy? We can work with you to help you solve the problem behavior. This includes behaviors such as counter-surfing (stealing food), pulling non-stop on walks, not coming when called, jumping up on you or company, running through doorways, etc.
1 1/2 hour Behavior Consult
Living with a dog who has behavior problems is very challenging and sometimes such dogs simply cannot be in a group class atmosphere. For these dogs, having a trainer to help set up a program to address the behavior issues is the answer.
Some of the issues we address are:
- Aggression to other dogs
- On Leash Aggression/Frustration
- Fear Based Aggression
- Shyness
- Excessive Barking
- Resource Guarding
- Hyperactive Behavior
- Housesoiling Problems
Private Lessons are great for those who want one on one lessons in their own home.
If your busy schedule prevents you from attending our group classes, or your dog has issues which prevent attending our group classes, private lessons in your home is just what you need.
We can help your dog become a well mannered member of your family. Lessons are designed to suit your needs!
We can also help you with problem behaviors such as aggression towards other dogs, house-soiling, destructive behavior, fearfulness, excessive barking, etc.
We will take detailed information of your training needs so that we will best be able to meet your goals.
